Good service. Food ok for the price.

After a hike in Solling, we drove spontaneously to the "quiet corner" today. We were greeted warmly by the landlady, although we were there a little early. We enjoyed the food, the service was very friendly and the ambience is appropriate to the inn. We felt very comfortable there and will be happy to go there again.

A house where the hospitality is still important and the food is delicious (butcher's food, goose dinner, Christmas dinner or by the card) I can only recommend

I would not like to give a star ... but I've never been so horrified after a restaurant visit. Vegetarians are "not normal" people. Service is under all sow. And generally you have filled undesirable. Just do not ask when the bill comes, otherwise you will be scolded, what a joke it would be to rush one. Food was okay but that would have been a lot more delicious.

What I had to experience in the restaurant to the quiet corner topped everything I ever experienced in a restaurant (in a negative sense). Already started with the more than unfriendly service, the evening ended in a disaster in which the boss outraged and verbally attacked my family. I can only advise everyone to shun this restaurant. After all, the food had something positive ... because we will probably always remember this family dinner.

We have been to the slaughterhouse twice and it was sensational. A real family business with old traditions and free! We will be back.

Rustic nothing special

The food was very good. But the evening lighting on the outside staircase should be stronger. Unfortunately, an elderly woman fell in front of my eyes.

Family, tidy, very clean, reliable, good breakfast. Inexpensive. Was surprised to find such a good inn in the lonely area. I will stay there again.

Ancient restaurant with a very pleasant kitchen, goose as in the past with grandma. Highly recommended

Quaint restaurant with hotel business in a friendly and human atmosphere with home-style cuisine and good discussions.

Pleasant inn with a double bed, wardrobe, desk, 2 chairs and a TV in the room and a bathroom with shower. The TV is a bit very small by today's standards, but the inn has WiFi and its own restaurant on the ground floor. The area is very rural and quiet, but the nearest supermarket is only one place away. The lady at the reception has lots of tips and advice should you have questions about certain attractions or routes.
